The official opening of InterAGRO 2011, the 7th international exhibition of remunerative highly effective agriculture, and Agro Animal Show 2011, the specialized exhibition of effective animal husbandry and poultry, was held on the 2nd of February 2011.

All participants pointed out the high level of the exhibitions organization and outlined particular importance of this event for Ukrainian economy.

Over 400 leading enterprises from Ukraine, France, Germany, Holland, Russia, Poland, Argentina, Austria, Denmark, Italy, China, Turkey, Sweden and Switzerland were gathered on the area of 30 thousand sqm.

This year for the first time together with InterAGRO, Agro Animal Show 2011 exhibition was held, which assembled over 100 participants from 12 countries of the world.

Owing to the fact that Agro Animal Show 2011 was held together with InterAGRO, the participants of agricultural market had an opportunity to get acquainted with the development possibilities of the sector as a part of agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, where harmonious formation of all its branches is one of the essentials for the economic stability of the state.

Visitors had a unique opportunity to see the latest world achievements in the field of science, technology, to participate in the discussion of important issues related to prospects and problems of modern agro-industrial sector and to see objective situation in the agricultural market.

Business program of the forum comprised a wide range of conferences, seminars, round tables, etc. Among them are: "Animal husbandry in Ukraine: to be or not to be"; "My dairy farm" international seminar; "Dairy complex management"; Dutch-Ukrainian forum of Agribusiness: "Milk production in Ukraine: how to increase efficiency and productivity", international workshops "Efficient production of maize and rapes in Ukraine" and "French technologies in pig breeding - innovation, experience, implementation", and many other events.

During InterAGRO 2011, Day of France was held, having grown into a traditional event already, where French experts shared their experiences with Ukrainian colleagues.
